Witness the story of Noah and his ark in this the beloved production “Noah” returns to Lancaster’s Sight & Sound Theater. You’ll sit inside the Ark as the story unfolds and animals troupe past. Don’t miss this spectacle!
Day 1 – Hagerstown, Maryland – Today, we leave Kentucky behind and travel through West Virginia and into the “Old Line State” of Maryland to overnight in Hagerstown.
Day 2 – Biblical Tabernacle – Kitchen Kettle Village – “Noah” the Musical – Amish Dinner – After an included breakfast, we depart for Lancaster and the heart of the Amish country. First, we visit the Biblical Tabernacle Experience, a full-sized reproduction of Moses’ Tabernacle in the Wilderness. Next, we stop at Kitchen Kettle Village for lunch on our own and shopping. You can watch the Amish ladies make jams and jellies on site, purchase delicious baked goods, and shop for locally made crafts and souvenir items to take home. Next, we’re off to the Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre to witness the classic story of “Noah.” The magnitude of this production is unbelievable. The 40-foot-tall Ark is constructed on the stage and the animals walk down the aisles of the theater to take their place on board. This drama is done as professionally as any Broadway show! This evening, we have included a delicious Amish dinner. We overnight in Lancaster.
Day 3 – Amish Farm & Home Museum – Countryside Tour – Hagerstown, Maryland – After an included breakfast, we visit the Amish Farm & Home Museum. This museum tour will explore all the rooms of this 1805 farmhouse, once lived in by an Amish family. After an included lunch, we meet our local step on guide for a guided tour of the Amish countryside. Our expert guide will share with us the Amish history, culture, and traditions, as we pass by farms, schools, and historic buildings. Afterwards, we travel to our overnight accommodations in Hagerstown.
Day 4 – Home – After an included breakfast, we return home with many inspiring memories from our trip to Pennsylvania.”
