Day 1 – Country Music Hall of Fame – Grand Ole Opry – Our coach heads south to “Music City, USA,” making a stop for lunch on our own en route. Upon arrival, we will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Experience the fascinating history of country music as it is told through the turn of two centuries. View one-of-a-kind recordings, films, and musical instruments that tell the story of those who have helped shape country music. Next, we check into our hotel accommodations in Downtown Nashville for the next two nights. Tonight, we attend a performance of the famous Grand Ole Opry show, the nation’s longest-running continuous radio program, where well-known country music stars will be performing.

Day 2 – Opry House Backstage Tour – Opry Mills – General Jackson Dinner Cruise – After an included breakfast, we take a guided backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House. We’ll get an exclusive behind the scenes look at the show that made country music famous. Our guide will share some of the stories about the Opry and the legendary musicians who have performed here. Afterwards, we visit Opry Mills, the number one entertainment and shopping destination in Nashville. There are over 200 retailers, unique restaurants, outlets, and specialty stores. We will have time for lunch on our own and shopping. This evening, we board the Victorian-styled General Jackson Showboat for a scenic dinner cruise down the Cumberland River. We will enjoy an included dinner, followed by entertainment performed in the Victorian Theater on board the boat. Listen to some of Nashville’s finest musicians and singers sharing stories and songs from the pride of Tennessee. Overnight same hotel.

Day 3 – Johnny Cash Museum – Home – After an included breakfast, we will tour the Johnny Cash Museum, dedicated to the life and music career of the late “Man in Black.” The world’s largest collection of Johnny Cash memorabilia can be found in this museum. Next, we board our motorcoach for our return to the Bluegrass State, making a stop for lunch on our own en route.
