Day 1 – Peabody Duck Parade – Beale Street – Memphis, Tennessee – We travel south through Nashville and into Memphis, referred to as the “Capital of the Mississippi Delta.” This beautiful city is famous for being the home of the blues and Elvis Presley. We arrive in Memphis in time to see the Marching Ducks Parade at the Peabody Hotel. The ducks play in the fountain in the hotel’s lobby and are taken down a red carpet to the elevator and up to their rooftop home for the night. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You may enjoy Beale Street and dine in one of the fine restaurants (meal on own) or just enjoy some of the blues music. We overnight for two nights in Memphis.
Day 2 – Graceland – City Tour – After an included breakfast, we visit Graceland, the lovely mansion of Elvis Presley. Here we see his dazzling costumes, gold records, gifts, cards, a 17-carat diamond studded ring, a 24-carat gold leaf grand piano, his motorcycles, and of course, his home. Next, a local guide steps aboard our coach and provides us with a city tour of the beautiful Memphis area, sharing with us some history and trivia. Dinner is included this evening. Overnight same hotel.
Day 3 – Home – After an included breakfast, we return home with beautiful memories of Memphis and a greater appreciation for the accomplishments of Elvis.
