Experience the natural beauty and breathtaking power of Niagara Falls. Witness the thundering waters of Canada’s magnificent Horseshoe Falls, enjoy spectacular views from land and water, and explore the charming towns, gardens, and attractions of the Niagara region.
Day 1 – Niagara Falls, Ontario – Today, we drive north across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York State. We cross the Canadian border and arrive in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where we will stay for the next three nights.
Day 2 – Table Rock – Niagara SkyWheel – Niagara Adventure Theater – Hornblower Boat Ride – Skylon Tower – Today a local step-on guide joins us for a day exploring Niagara Falls. We begin at Table Rock, where we stand near the brink of Horseshoe Falls and witness the tremendous rush of water plunging into the gorge below. Next, we board the Niagara SkyWheel, riding in climate-controlled gondolas that rise 175 feet above Niagara for panoramic views of Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, the Niagara River, and surrounding landmarks. Following lunch on our own, we visit the Niagara Adventure Theater for a film exploring the history of the falls and the daring feats of those who challenged their powerful waters. We then enjoy an unforgettable Hornblower boat ride, bringing us close to the spectacular falls for a thrilling experience amid the mist. This evening, enjoy an included dinner at Skylon Tower, offering magnificent views high above Niagara Falls. Overnight same hotel.
Day 3 – Welland Canal – Niagara-on-the-Lake – Winery Tour – Butterfly Conservatory – Chocolate FX – Our first stop is the Welland Canal, an impressive engineering achievement whose locks allow massive ships to navigate the changes in elevation along this important waterway. We then travel to charming Niagara-on-the-Lake, where we have time for lunch on our own, shopping, and browsing this historic town. This afternoon, enjoy a winery tour before making a photo stop at the beautiful Floral Clock. Next, we visit the Butterfly Conservatory, where colorful tropical butterflies flutter freely among lush greenery and exotic blooms. Our afternoon concludes at Chocolate FX, where we learn about the chocolate-making process and have an opportunity to purchase delicious treats to take home. Dinner is included this evening. Overnight same hotel.
Day 4 – Home – Today we depart Canada and cross the border back into the United States, making our way home with wonderful memories of Niagara Falls.
