Experience a magical, musical Christmas celebration in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish Country. Enjoy delightful Christmas musicals and plenty of holiday cheer to kick off the season.
Day 1 – Hagerstown, MD – Today, we leave Kentucky behind and travel through West Virginia and into the “Old Line State” of Maryland to overnight in Hagerstown.
Day 2 – National Christmas Center – Kitchen Kettle Village – Dutch Apple Dinner Theater – After an included breakfast, we travel to the heart of the Amish country in Lancaster, PA. Our first stop is the National Christmas Center, where we view a wide array of treasures from Christmases past including replicated buildings that depict the streets of Columbia, PA, as they were in the 1950’s. See vintage Christmas decorations and toys, towns and over 1,000 nativities and Santa figures from around the world. Next, we stop at Kitchen Kettle Village where you can enjoy lunch on your own, watch Amish ladies make jams and jellies on site, purchase delicious baked goods, and shop for local crafts and souvenir items to take home. This evening, we attend a delightful show, “Irvin Berlin’s Holiday Inn,” at Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. We overnight in Lancaster.
Day 3 – American Music Theater – Biblical Tabernacle – Hagerstown. After an included breakfast, we head to Lancaster’s famous American Music Theater for a fabulous Christmas show, “Deck the Halls.” Singers, dancers, and an orchestra perform favorite Christmas songs in a feel-good holiday spectacular that celebrates the magic and meaning of this special time of the year. After an included lunch, we next visit the Biblical Tabernacle Experience, a full-sized reproduction of Moses’ Tabernacle in the Wilderness. Afterwards, we travel to our overnight accommodations in Hagerstown.
Day 4 – Home – After an included breakfast, we return home full of Christmas spirit.
