An inspiring trip awaits you in the Ozarks, as the rugged mountains provide a beautiful backdrop for the story of Jesus in The Great Passion Play and many other entertaining musicals and shows.
Day 1 – Lambert’s Café – Branson, MO – Today, we head west through Indiana and Illinois into the “Show Me State” of Missouri. This evening, we have included a delicious dinner at Lambert’s Café, famous for their “throwed rolls.” We continue to Branson, where we overnight.
Day 2 – Eureka Springs Historic Tour & Tram – Holy Land Tour – Christ of the Ozarks Statue – The Great Passion Play – After an included breakfast, we drive through the Ozark countryside, making our way to Eureka Springs, AR. This scenic Alpine town with its Victorian architecture is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We’ll have free time for shopping and lunch on own in the downtown area before touring an accurately reconstructed replica of the Holy Land. Be transported back in time as you explore the Tabernacle in the Wilderness, Bethlehem Inn, the Nativity, the Garden Tomb, and many other exhibits. Afterwards, we have included a visit to the Christ of the Ozarks Statue. Dinner is included this evening before we attend a performance of The Great Passion Play, depicting the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Overnight in Eureka Springs.
Day 3 – Old Downtown Branson – The Dutton Family – Pierce Arrow “Decades” Show – After an included breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way back to Branson. We will visit Historic Downtown Branson for lunch on our own and shopping. There are over 50 shops offering crafts, souvenirs, clothing, and more, plus Dick’s Old Time Five and Dime Store. Next, we will be entertained by The Dutton Family, a multi-talented family of incredible entertainers who sing, dance, and play a huge collection of instruments. Tonight, after an included dinner, it’s time for another show: The Pierce Arrow “Decades” Show, one-of-a-kind musical journey through the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s with comedic appearances by “Elvis” and “James Brown” (AKA James Sibley, Branson’s funniest comedian). We overnight two nights in Branson.
Day 4 – Clay Cooper – Showboat Branson Belle – The Haygoods – After an included breakfast, we will be entertained by Branson’s King of Country, Clay Cooper. Clay Cooper's Country Express features 27 incredible entertainers, great visual effects, a live band, and a variety of music and comedy. Tonight, we set sail for a cruise aboard the Showboat Branson Belle where we’ll have an included dinner, followed by an exciting variety show. Enjoy music from the 60’s to today performed by a talented troupe of singers alongside the featured four-piece band and toe-tapping Showboat Dancers. This evening, we will be entertained by The Haygoods, who bring the house down night after night with incredibly tight harmonies, innovative, energetic choreography, incredible special effects, and amazing performances on over 20 different instruments! Overnight same hotel.
Day 5 – Home – After an included breakfast, we reluctantly depart this lovely Ozark Mountain area and begin our journey back to the Bluegrass State.
