During the Christmas season in Germany, artisans would set up booths in front of the local church in a festival style setting, where browsers would make their selections. This custom began in the 14th century and continues today in Ferdinand. Enjoy live Glockenspiel, Christmas caroling, samples of delectable foods, plus over 200 booths to shop and browse. Here you will find everything from arts and antiques to handmade treasures – Santas, wood carvings, clothing, quilts, candles, jewelry, jams, baked goods, schnitzel, chocolates, and much more. Dinner is included at the landmark Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper, Indiana. Enjoy German food at its finest in an Old-World atmosphere.
