During the Christmas season in Germany, artisans would set up booths in front of the local church in a festival-style setting for shoppers to make their selections. This custom began in the 14 th century and continues today in Ferdinand. Enjoy a live Glockenspiel, Christmas caroling, samples of delectable foods, plus over 200 booths to shop and browse. You’ll find everything from arts and antiques to handmade treasures including woodcarvings, clothing, quilts, candles, jewelry, jams, baked goods, schnitzel, chocolates, and more. Dinner is included at the landmark Schnitzelbank Restaurant, an Old-World German establishment in Jasper, IN.
