Dr. Ted’s Musical Marvels

Travel with us to Dale, Indiana, where we tour Dr. Ted’s Musical Marvels, a spectacular collection of restored mechanical musical instruments from the 1800’s to the mid 1900’s. Our guided tour will provide interesting narration on the various instruments. The list ranges from early music boxes, player pianos, carousel organs, and band ensembles, along with turn of the century memorabilia. Take a trip back in time as you listen to the magical music produced by these amazing instruments. Lunch is included at the landmark Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper, Indiana. Enjoy German food at its finest in an Old-World atmosphere. Our last stop for the day will be at the Dubois County Museum, one of the largest county museums in Indiana. Visit the “Main Street Dubois County” featuring 17 rooms portraying life at the turn of the 20th century including a barber shop, bank, hotel, photographer, and shoe shop. Visit the double log cabin, historic agricultural machinery collection and the furniture industry, sports, and military exhibits.
