Itinerary

DAY 1 – Davis Mercantile – Menno-Hof Center – Shipshewana, IN 

Our adventure begins as we travel north into Indiana to the peaceful charm of Shipshewana, nestled in the heart of Amish country. We’ll stop at the Davis Mercantile, a unique shopping destination featuring four floors of locally crafted goods, antiques and Amish-made treasures. Next, we’ll explore the Menno-Hof Information Center, an engaging and educational experience that offers insight into Amish-Mennonite way of life. After checking into our Shipshewana hotel for two nights, we’ll cap off the day with an included Amish-style dinner. 

DAY 2 – Yoder’s Red Barn – Blue Gate Theater – Shipshewana, IN

Our day starts with a guided tour of Indiana’s Amish country with a step-on guide who will share fascinating insights into the Amish way of life, culture, and traditions. Along the way, take in the peaceful countryside, horse-drawn buggies, and charming farms that define the region. Next, we enjoy time for shopping at two local favorites: Yoder’s Red Barn Shoppes, offering handcrafted goods and local specialties, and E&S Sales Bulk Foods, known for its wide variety of Amish bulk foods, spices and unique pantry staples. This evening, we gather for another included Amish dinner. Then, sit back and enjoy and inspiring live performance of “A Simple Sanctuary” at the Blue Gate Theater, a heartwarming story filled with faith, hope and uplifting music. Overnight same hotel.

DAY 3 – Shipshewana Flea Market – Home

We begin our final morning with a visit to the Shipshewana Flea Market, a perfect place to pick up a few last souvenirs. Browse hundreds of vendors offering everything from handcrafted goods to antiques and fresh produce. After this last taste of Amish hospitality, we journey home with lasting memories of our time in Shipshewana.
