Day 1 – Hagerstown, MD – Our adventure begins as we travel through West Virginia and Maryland to our overnight accommodations in Hagerstown.
Day 2 – Ellis Island – Statue of Liberty – New York City, NY – We make our way to Liberty State Park and board the ferry to Ellis Island, the nation’s main point of entry for millions of immigrants from 1892-1924. Next, we ferry to Liberty Island for an up-close visit to the world-famous Statue of Liberty, America’s enduring symbol of freedom. We continue to our Midtown Manhattan hotel, where we’ll spend the next two nights. This evening, we’ll gather for an included dinner in the city, enjoying the flavors of New York.
Day 3 – One World Observatory – 9/11 Museum – Broadway Show – We’ll stand atop the world at One World Observatory, where spectacular 360-degree views stretch for miles in every direction. Next, experience the moving exhibits of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, a powerful tribute honoring the lives lost and the remarkable resilience of our nation. Following an included dinner, we’ll absorb the culture of New York as we attend a Broadway Show. Overnight same hotel.
Day 4 – Empire State Building – Madison Square Garden – Hagerstown – Breathtaking sights await us from the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building, the granddaddy of all skyscrapers. Afterwards, we take a backstage tour of Madison Square Garden, one of the world’s most legendary arenas. Explore behind the scenes areas, hear insider stories, and discover where history has been made in sports and music. We depart the city this afternoon for Hagerstown, where we overnight.
Day 5 – Home – We depart for home this morning, enjoying the scenery as we revel in the memories of our visit to the “Big Apple.”
