Day 1 – Golden Lamb Restaurant – Lebanon, Ohio – Clifton Mill Christmas Lights – Come and experience the beauty of an old-fashioned Christmas as we discover the charming small towns, quaint villages, and rural suburbs of Green County, Ohio. This afternoon, we journey into the past as we enjoy an included lunch at the historic Golden Lamb Restaurant. Built in 1803, this is the most historic tavern in the state of Ohio and has hosted over a dozen U.S. presidents. After lunch, we will have time for shopping in Lebanon Ohio’s antique and specialty stores. Next, we check into our hotel accommodations in Dayton, Ohio. Tonight, we drive to Clifton Mill, where we will be awed by the Clifton Mill Light Display, one of the most impressive Christmas light displays in the nation with over four million lights illuminating the mill, the gorge, and the waters of the Little Miami River. There will be free time to visit the Santa Museum with over 3,000 Santa Claus figures on display ranging from new to the very old and odd.
Day 2 – Esther Price Candy Shop – La Comedia Dinner Theater – Home – After an included breakfast, we will visit the Esther Price Candy Shop. Here, we will have an opportunity to purchase some sweet Christmas gifts. Next, we will have a special treat as we experience the La Comedia Dinner Theater. We have included lunch and a lively and engaging musical “Miracle on 34th Street.” This festive story of the “real” Santa Claus features favorite Christmas carols, dazzling costumes, and beautiful sets. After the show, we make our way back home, with warm thoughts of Christmases past and the hopes of Christmases yet to come. Meals: 1B, 2L, Shows: 1
